Elko County, Nevada is soliciting comments on a proposed Resolution 2021-06 which will increase the surcharge for enhancement or improvement of a telephone system used for reporting emergency (enhanced 911 surcharge) from $.25 cents to $1.00.

Upon receipt of the comments a business impact statement will be completed. This will be reviewed by the Board of County Commissioners at a public hearing prior to discussion of the proposed Resolution 2021-06.
For comments to be included in the business impact statement they need to be received no later than 5:00 p.m. PDST on April 2, 2021.
