Voters who are listed on the mis-matched or no signature reports have been mailed a signature cure letter.  The voter must complete the form and return it with a copy of their ID for their ballot to count. 


                                  Important Election Dates For Voters: 

November 22, 2021 Supplemental mailing of ballots to active registered voters
November 27, 2021 Last day to register to vote and still receive a mail ballot
November 27-December 10, 2021 Early Voting - Elko  County Library, 720 Court Street, Elko
8:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F
10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturdays
November 30, 2021 Last day to request an absentee ballot
December 7, 2021 Last day to request a replacement ballot 
December 9, 2021 Last day to register to vote online
December 14, 2021 Special Election Day, Elko County Library, 720 Court Street, Elko
7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Same Day Registration is available during Early Voting and Election Day

In-Person ballots must be delivered by the closing of the polls on Election Day to the Clerk's Office or the Elko County Library. 
Ballots sent via USPS must be postmarked by December 14, 2021, and received by the Elko County Clerk's Office by 5:00 pm on the 7th day after Election Day in order to be processed. 

MAIL BALLOT DROP BOXES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE POLLING LOCATION AND THE ELKO COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

Voters are encouraged to check the status of their registration by going to www.registertovotenv.gov. Changes to registration may be made there.

2022 Election Information

2022 Candidate Filing Periods
Judicial & Non-Judicial: March 7, 2022  -  March 18, 2022

The 2022 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 14.  
*Early Voting begins on Saturday, May 28 and runs through Friday, June 10.   

The 2022 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8. 
*Early voting begins on Saturday, October 22 and runs through Friday, November 4.
